Today we’re going to hard boil some eggs.
Place the eggs tightly in a single layer in a saucepan.
Cover the eggs with water.
So they won’t crack, add 1 Tablespoon of salt.
Cover the pan and place it on your stovetop on high heat.
Bring the water to a boil.
Then immediately shut off the stove and let the covered pot of eggs just sit there. Set the timer for 15 minutes!
Information Overlay:
Large Eggs:
4 minutes – soft boiled
15 minutes – hard boiled
When the timer goes off, run cold water over the eggs and you’re done! Enjoy!

Peel hard boiled eggs just before you use them.
There are two ways to make the peeling easier. One is to crack the shell at the ends of each egg and return them to cold water. This allows the water to seep in and the peel to fall right off.
Or after the eggs have cooled just put them in the refrigerator for a few hours. Cold eggs are much easier to peel.
A hard cooked egg should be put in the refrigerator within two hours of cooking and will keep there, unpeeled, about 1 week.
Cheers!
