Hi! I’m Kathy Maister…welcome to startcooking.com!
English muffin pizzas are a great snack, a meal or a party!
They take no time to prepare and cook in about 10 minutes!
How can you beat that!
*******
Go and turn your oven on to 350 degrees to preheat.
Grab a baking sheet with sides and some pot holders!

To make 12 English muffin pizzas you’ll need:
6 English muffins.
Pizza sauce – which is right near the spaghetti sauce at the grocery store.
½ pound of browned ground beef that’s been seasoned with garlic and onion powder
Some salt and pepper
And about 8 Ounces of shredded cheese
******
Using a fork, split the English muffins in half
Line the muffins on a baking sheet, with sides.
Spread about 2 T. of pizza sauce on each muffin.
Add about 2 T. of the ground beef.
Then Top it with approximately 2 T. of shredded cheese.
Now put the pizzas in the preheated oven.
Set the timer for 10 minutes, and start cleaning the kitchen!
By the time the cheese has melted, your pizzas should have a crispy bottom and be cooked to perfection.
It may take a minute or two longer if you’ve added a lot of cheese.
Now…Time to dig in!

Just like any pizza, there are lots of different toppings you can make for English muffin pizzas.
Ham, pineapple, and a sprinkle of oregano, give this pizza a bit of a tropical flair.

If you live in England, crumpets are the closest equivalent to English muffins.
Actually, English crumpets are also available in the US, and make a fun substitute, especially when used with different toppings.
First, drop them in the toaster and let them get them nicely browned.
Then add just a bit of mozzarella cheese, ..chopped ..fresh… sage.., and blue cheese.
It will only take about a minute for the cheese to melt under the broiler.
garnish with a few walnuts. Wow! What a pizza!
Now just let your imagination go, and start creating your own English Muffin pizzas!
Enjoy!
