COUSCOUS

serves 4

  • 1 1/4 cups of quick-cooking couscous
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional)

Bring the water (or stock) to a boil and add the oil (or butter) and salt to the pot.

Whisk in the couscous

Cover the pot and remove it from the stove.

It will take approximately 5-10 minutes for all the water to be absorbed.

Uncover and fluff with a fork.
