A Perfect Picnic

posted in Lunch by Kathy Maister

I love picnics any time of the year and I like to keep them simple — you can buy everything, not cook anything and still provide a great meal.

Start off at the deli section of your grocery store. There you will undoubtedly find some great fixings for a picnic.

Some of my favorites are:

  • a bit of nice gooey brie cheese
  • crusty French bread
  • cornichon pickles or olives
  • some pate — mushroom, vegetarian, or chicken liver are just a few choices
  • a bottle of wine or apple cider

and

  • the one you love!

Enjoy!
