Our friends (and sponsors) at Chiquita asked us to make a video about their great Chiquita Bites product line - pre-sliced fruit and veggies that deliver great nutrition and pack a vitamin wallop in a super quick and convenient format.

We thought it would be great to run a contest with our friends and fellow food bloggers to help us come up with the best idea for a video.

It was really tough trying to decide what idea to choose since we received tons of really great suggestions. I am thrilled to announce that our Chiquita Wii Fit Contest Winner is Amanda Heaston, a.k.a. Gourmet Mom-on the Go .

Tinker Toy Snacks
Ever get tired of telling your kids, “Quit playing with your food!”? Well, maybe it’s time to give in! In fact, maybe you should join in! All you need is Chiquita Grape Bites, cheese cubes, toothpicks, and some imagination. Have a snack and some quality time they’ll never forget! Give everyone a bag of Grape bites, a pile of cheese cubes, a plate, and a small pile of toothpicks. Pushing the toothpick ends into the grapes and cheese cubes, “build” your own edible sculptures (have pictures of various funny “tinker toy sculptures”). Anything goes, the only limit is your imagination!

Mandy’s suggestion inspired us to develop the Chiquita “Apple Snack Attack” video. We hope you have as much fun watching this video as we did making it!
